TX Transmitter: Live Plug Connector (LPC)

This accessory is used to easily apply a transmitter signal to a street distribution cable using a standard mains socket. It is available with a UK, US or EU style mains plug. Qualified for use to CAT II 250V.

Part No: 10/Tx-LPC-V2-XX (XX = EU, UK, US)

The Live Plug Connector applies the TX Transmitter signal to a live domestic power socket and, via the domestic wiring system, to the service and supply cable in the street.

Connect the Live Cable Connector to the TX transmitter accessory socket and the mains power socket, then switch the transmitter and the power socket on.

NOTE: The Live Plug Connector provides protection to 250V AC.

 

WARNING!: Do not use Direct Connect leads to connect to live cables. Use the Radiodetection Transmitter Live Plug Connector or Live Cable Connector. Failure to do so may result in injury or equipment damage.

WARNING! The transmitter is capable of outputting potentially lethal voltages. Take care when applying signals to any pipe or cable and be sure to notify other technicians who may be working on the line.

WARNING! Ensure the TX transmitter is switched OFF before making a connection and before disconnection of the direct connection lead to a service.

WARNING! This equipment is NOT approved for use in areas where hazardous gases may be present.

WARNING! Before removing the transmitter battery pack, switch off the unit and disconnect all cables.
