MyRD Privacy Policy
1. General
1.1. By accessing and using Radiodetection’s MyRD mobile app (“App”) you agree to be bound by this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”), and you consent to the collection and use of Usage Logs usage logs by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1.2. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before you start to use the App. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, do not use the App.
1.3. We may revise this Privacy Policy at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are binding on you.
1.4. This Privacy Policy describes how we, as a data controller, fulfil our obligations under applicable data protection laws (“Laws”), including the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Radiodetection Ltd is part of SPX Technologies, Inc., and follows SPX’s global privacy and data protection standards. This Privacy Policy should be read together with the SPX Global Privacy Policy, available at https://www.spx.com/privacy/, which sets out SPX’s overarching principles governing how SPX and its affiliated entities handle information globally.
1.5. In this Privacy Policy, “Usage Logs” refers to non-personal, technical data automatically generated by the App to help us understand, maintain, and improve its performance. This may include crash logs, debug logs, device model, operating-system version, app version, timestamps, and error details. Usage Logs do not include any data that directly identifies an individual, such as names, email addresses, contact details, or location data.
2. Information about us
2.1. The App is owned and operated by Radiodetection Ltd, Western Drive, Bristol, BS14 0AF United Kingdom and its successors and assigns (“we”, “us” or “our”).
2.2. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
2.3. We are registered with the Information Commissioner as the processor of information we collect and are the 'data controller' of such data for the purposes of the Laws. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is Radiodetection Ltd.
3. Information we may collect from you and how we use it
3.1. We may collect and process the following Usage Logs to:
(A) Record and monitor App performance for internal analysis, usage measurement and reporting;
(B) Investigate and resolve technical issues and improve functionality;
(C) Support system maintenance, reliability and future updates.
3.2. Usage Logs are used solely for diagnostic and performance purposes. They are not used for advertising, marking or profiling, and are only shared with authorised service providers where necessary to operate, maintain, or enhance the App, support App functionality or resolve technical issues.
4. Deletion of your information
4.1. Any Usage Logs collected will be stored for 1 year, after which they will be permanently deleted.
