When using the PCM Manager mobile app on Android devices for the first time or after re installing the app, certain permissions will need to be accepted before being able to use the app. This includes using location in the background to supplement locator log data.

When you transfer data from the locator, the app may use your current location and add it to the log data.

The app also need other permissions to work, please enable them as follows.

'Allow PCM Manager to send you notifications?' is displayed.

This enables PCM Manager notifications to appear on your phone.  

Select Allow

Location (In use)

This permission is required to enable the mobile device's location while the app is in use.

Select LOCATION (Always)  

This permission is required to enable the mobile device's location while the app is running in the background.

Select Permissions

Select 'Allow all the time'

Press the 'back' button 3 times to get back to the PCM Manager Permissions page

Select BLUETOOTH 

This setting allows PCM Manager to use Bluetooth connectivity to interact with your locator.

Select Continue

NOTE: All requested permissions must be allowed for PCM Manager to function correctly.
