RD Map+ is the official Android companion app for all Radiodetection’s Bluetooth Precision locators, which allows operators to create utility maps in real time and share them directly from the field.

NOTE: RD Map+ is only available for Andoid devices.

Products supported

RD Map+ for Android is compatible with the following Precision Locator products:

RD8200 cable and pipe locators

RD8100 cable and pipe locators

RD8100 cable, pipe and RF marker locators

RD7100 cable, pipe and RF marker locators

NOTE: Support of the RD8200SG is limited to retrieving survey measurements. It does not support NTRIP correction (use of a third party software is required) and it does not retrieve accuracy achieved.

RD7200 and RD7100 cable and pipe locators are not supported

License

RD Map+ is free to download and use and does not require any registration.

RD Map+ also offers a number of features which require an yearly premium license. These are:

• Trimble Catalyst support
• Ability to have more than 1 utility per job
• SHP export
• External GNSS support
• Push high accuracy position measurements into the locator own survey measurements memory
• Telephone technical support

Premium license are valid for one mobile device only.
