To install RD Manager Online onto your PC

Follow these steps:

Ensure your locator is not connected to the PC.
To download RD Manager Online: Visit www.radiodetection.com
Type RD Manager Online in the search bar to the right of 'Contact Us'

In the Search results select RD Manager Online

On the RD Manager Online page scroll down the page..

.. to the 2 available download zip folder options. Select one of the options to begin the download.

Alternatively,

On Home page select: Solutions
On the Solutions page select: Precision Locator Range
On the Precision Locator Range page select: RD8200SG Survey Grade Locator, RD8200 Cable & pipe Locators, RD7200 Cable & pipe Locators.
On either the RD8200SG Survey Grade Locator, RD8200 Cable & pipe Locators or RD7200 Cable & pipe Locators page select: Software
Look for RD Manager Online and click on FIND OUT MORE
On the RD Manager Online page scroll down the page to the 2 available download zip folder options. Select one of the options to begin the download.

When the download has completed locate the zip folder in your Downloads folder:

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to your Downloads folder to access the rd-manager-online-1-4-1-0.zip folder and extract to desktop.
Locate the extracted contents of the rd-manager-online-1-4-1-0 folder on your desktop and select the setup.exe file and 'right click' and select Run as Administrator to start the installation process.

Wait for the RD Manager Online drivers installation process to complete, you may briefly see the window below. When it disappears, you have completed the installation.

To connect to the PC plug your locator into the PC using a USB Type A to Type C cable and turn the locator ON.

NOTE: You must be connected to the internet and have signed in to access some of the software functionalities or access the online help feature.

To start RD Manager Online:

Use the software icon on your desktop

Read the RD Manager’s Online End User License Agreement. Select Accept to continue or Decline if you decide not to accept the EULA terms.
Press Next

Follow these steps:

If you already have RD Manager Online installed you can choose to update to a later version directly from within the application without the need to uninstall /remove your current version.
Open RD Manager Online/Navigate to the ‘Tools’ dropdown menu and select ‘Check for Updates’

The ‘Update Manager’ will open.
If a later version is available for download, the 'Download' button will be active.
Click on the Download button to start the download process. Once complete your software version will be updated.
Wait for the RD Manager Online drivers installation process to complete, you may briefly see the window below.
