Before pairing with MyRD, make sure you have completed the locator setup described in Set up the locator.

This guide applies to MyRD beta version 1.2.121 (0) and has been tested with iOS 26.

MyRD includes an NTRIP client that delivers correction data to the paired SG locator. To use MyRD, you must have access to an NTRIP correction service.

When you first launch the app, the Locator Selection screen is displayed.

When you tap Select a Device, the app prompts you to grant the required permissions for the app to work properly.

Tap Allow

NOTE: All requested permissions must be allowed for MyRD to function correctly.

Pairing your SG locator

To connect a compatible locator, you must first pair with it.

Tap Select a Device to start the pairing process.

The Available Devices screen shows all nearby compatible locators.

NOTE Your locator must be ON at this point.

Ensure your locator has been setup to work with iOS.

Select your locator from the list and tap Connect to complete pairing.

Once pairing is complete, a Success! message briefly appears to confirm the connection.

The main app screen shows your paired device.

From here, you can configure a Correction Service (Configure NTRIP) or change the paired locator (Change Device).
